Tonganoxie USD 464 Receives Energy Efficiency Award
On March 10th Superintendent Kyle Hayden received the Trane Energy Efficiency Award on behalf of the District for their dedication to High Performance Schools and Energy Education. The awards ceremony took place during an All School Assembly at Tonganoxie Middle School, where the 7th and 8th grade Jazz Band and 8th grade Girls Choir performed. View news coverage of the event. Engineers Newsletter LIVE: Fans in Air Handling Systems
On Wednesday, March 24th, all District Offices will host an Engineers Newsletter LIVE broadcast. Sign up now to learn how fans used in air-handling systems can impact energy use and acoustics. Second Green Schools Summit a Huge Success
The Green School Summit, hosted by the Smoky Hill Education Service Center and sponsored by Trane, on February 25th in Salina, KS was a huge success. Dozen of District Administrators, School Board Members, Student Leaders and other educational advocates from across the state attended the event. Summit speakers addressed how Kansas schools can redefine success in these turbulent economic times via "Green Projects and Initiatives". Click here to learn more and watch videos of the speakers.
District Raises Money for American Heart Association

On February 18th the Kansas City/Omaha District joined forces in an effort to raise awareness and money to combat Heart Disease. Greg Winkelmann, an associate in Omaha who underwent quadruple bypass surgery at age 42, shared his experience that cardiovascular disease can strike at any age. The District raised over $350 for the American Heart Association.
2010 AC Clinic
It's time to plan for the 2010 Air Conditioning Clinic, brought to you by the University of Missouri - Kansas City and TRANE. This course, which takes place one night per week from September - December, covers the basics of air conditioning. This course is NOT a service school.
